Our Wine Maker
Sebright Cellars Winemaker, Andy Jones, was born and raised in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. After graduating from culinary school, he helped open Solage Calistoga serving as the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. It was in that role that he cultivated his passion for wine and eventually took a position at Outpost winery working with Thomas Rivers Brown. Under Thomas’ tutelage Andy has gained incomparable knowledge, as well as developed his own perspective of what wine should be.
Vineyard location and vigor are important factors in Andy’s wine making approach. Each vineyard site imparts individual characteristics to the grapes. Andy’s approach is to use those individual qualities to produce unique, high quality wines.
