This wine possesses a classic Bordeaux aromatic profile with notes of herbes de Provence, grilled meat, blackcurrant, worn leather and tack. The dark rich color translates on the palate with notes of sage smoke, crushed blueberries, nutmeg, river rock, anise and jasmine. The mouth feel is very lush and round with broad strokes of flavors intermingling from the front to the back of the palate. Overall the wine has a very complex, layered fruit-forward appeal and nice approachability, making it easy to enjoy now or it will age well.
